Kemetic Interfaith Network, can it really work?

Many of you will have already seen this, but if not…

A New Year’s Gift for Kemet and Her People

Will the new Kemetic Interfaith Network forum realize its purpose? I hope so! I’ve often felt like I’m in Life of Bryan, in which groups that have almost the same goals see each other as the enemy.

I intend to participate. I can never remember if I’m a member of the People’s Front of Judea, the Judean People’s Front, the Judean Popular People’s Front, the Campaign for a Free Galilee, or the Popular Front of Judea!

…or the Kemetic equivalents.

If you’ve got the time, give it a try.

Ahahaha, I love the Life of Bryan reference. :DI hope it works out too. I think there's a good shot it will with the proper amount of allowance for growth and understanding. 🙂

I think it's already working. However, it's been done before. A person in the HofN created such a forum many, many years ago called "INK". But the collective internet community of people who wanted to talk about Kemet was much, much smaller at the time.

It's still up. I had looked at it months ago. Over 9,000 members and an impressive number of posts. I wonder how many of those people still consider themselves Kemetic. Of course, some may have just had a passing interest.I also find it interesting that, even though Tamara started it and has given it her blessing, some House of Netjer members have a "humph, I don't want to talk to outsiders" attitude towards it. I suppose they are not as well-controlled as some believe.

I see that now! I hadn't been there in so long, I had no idea it had attracted 9,000 members since then. Well holy cow. 😀

Interfaith can work when we unite in love. 🙂

It can, but I think it may take a lot of work for some people to develop the right attitude to approach it.
