about

I started my journey into Ancient Egyptian Religion in mid-2010. There’s a lot to study and think about. I took the beginners class with House of Netjer, October – December 2010, and have made many friends there. I also maintain an independent Kemetic practice. I’m “Helmsman of Inepu” on several of the message boards.

These are some of the books I’ve read on this subject.
  • Symbol & Magic in Egyptian Art (Wilkinson)
  • Conceptions of God in Ancient Egypt (Hornung)
  • The Mind of Egypt (Assmann)
  • The Myth of Egypt and Its Hieroglyphs in European Tradiiton (Iversen)
  • Shamanic Wisdom in the Pyramid Texts (Naydler)
  • Ancient Egyptian Religion: An Interpretation (Frankfort)
  • Eternal Egypt (Reidy)
  • Temple of the Cosmos (Naydler)
  • Eye of the Sun (Wisner)
  • Ancient Egypt Its Culture and History (White)
  • Magic in Ancient Egypt (Pinch)
  • Red Land, Black Land (Mertz)
  • Following the Sun (LaBorde)
  • Handbook to Life in Ancient Egypt (David)

  1. Helms – I love the new look and regenerated website but don't get notices anymore about your new posts. Does this mean I need to resubscribe?

    • Yes, I was able to transfer the posts to the new domain, but not the subscriptions.

Thanks! I think there will be some interesting things on the way!
