I started my journey into Ancient Egyptian Religion in mid-2010. There’s a lot to study and think about. I took the beginners class with House of Netjer, October – December 2010, and have made many friends there. I also maintain an independent Kemetic practice. I’m “Helmsman of Inepu” on several of the message boards.
These are some of the books I’ve read on this subject.
Symbol & Magic in Egyptian Art (Wilkinson)
Conceptions of God in Ancient Egypt (Hornung)
The Mind of Egypt (Assmann)
The Myth of Egypt and Its Hieroglyphs in European Tradiiton (Iversen)
Shamanic Wisdom in the Pyramid Texts (Naydler)
Ancient Egyptian Religion: An Interpretation (Frankfort)
Eternal Egypt (Reidy)
Temple of the Cosmos (Naydler)
Eye of the Sun (Wisner)
Ancient Egypt Its Culture and History (White)
Magic in Ancient Egypt (Pinch)
Red Land, Black Land (Mertz)
Following the Sun (LaBorde)
