The lilacs were blooming, so I decided it was a good time to offer some on my shrine. I dedicated them to Bast. I’ve decided to use my Japanese ceramics in my shrine. That way I get to see them a lot more often. The shrine cloth was a surprise gift from a friend.
The offerings included flame (the oil lamp in the soapstone holder), jasmine incense, bread (4 triscuits- I’d usually offer something I baked, but I ran out!), a fig bar, dark chocolate, cool water, wine, and honey.
The red and natural grass basket will be for durable offerings in the future, I just put it in the photo for show. At this point I don’t leave an altar set up all the time.
